(Seeing that there is no War room or the briefing room, I have to make my post here)
Ryan Marshall had just stepped into the late Professor Xavier's office, impending the arrival of all the X-Men and x students of the mansion. He had just called for a meeting as he planned to stop the rot and return to the true objective of the X-Men. Looking at the desk of the late great man himself, he smiled as he had fond memories here. He then looked up at the door, waiting for anyone who would be joining the meeting. He had expected one or another to make the meeting as he was going to explain his objectives and changes at the mansion.

Remy entered the room as per normal, looking his lazy. His body shows it but his eyes were different. Remy's red on black eyes were always looking fresh and clear. Smiling at Ryan, Remy took a seat at an empty chair. He got out a card and lit it up to pinkish purple.
Remy twirled it around his fingers as his eyes trailed every move of it. "Rem' dun' tink' they're gon' be late, mon'ami. Ya' did say tis' is impo'tant rite'?" Remy asked, thingying up an eyebrow but his gaze never left from the twirling card.

Ryan smiled as he looked at his best friend from the Institute. He had learnt much from being in Scott's group at the Institute and he planned to impart that knowledge and use it to help the institute back to their feet. "Yeah, Remy...I hope you're right,"he said as he looked at the door before standing up and walking over to the window. "Remy, you know me right...Do you think I made the right decision?"he asked, bluntly.

Remy abruptly stopped twirling the card and unlight it. Calmly, he placed it back into the pocket of his trench coat before looking up at Ryan. It took just a few seconds for Remy to study Ryan's features. "Ya' noe', mon'ami.." he started. "Remy had no rite's tah' judge anythin' fa' ya'. Jus' tah' let ya' noe," he spoke before sitting up straight and looking directly at Ryan.
"Rem' wil' support ya' no mat'er whereev'r ya' go. It's alrite' tah' do somethin' out of da' ordin'ry but jus' tah' let ya' noe'...through experi'nce, Remy found out tat' ya' got'a take som' risk at som' poin' of life. Believe Remy tat' ya'll not regret it," he spoke before smiling at Ryan.
"But mak' sure it'll benif't fa' Remy if da' Cajun supports ya', mon'ami," he grinned before hearing some footsteps down the hallways.

Ryan smiled as he turned to face Remy from his position. He knew the other male was right as he had always known hardship like himself. "You're right, Remy. Risks has to be made in life and I will of course give you the benefit in the team. You can be my deputy, acting as my extra set of eyes and ears,"Ryan said with a smile. With Remy, everything was at ease as he knew how to lighten the mood.
"That footsteps I hear?"he asked, looking at the Cajun.

Janice hated being late, so of course she was headed to the office. She would most likely get there before most of the others. SHe entered the office and saw she was right, only Ryan and Remy were there.
There was just something about Ryan that she didn't like. It was stupid really, but he reminded her of someone back home, if home was what you could call it, and that someone hadn't been all too nice to her. The fact that the first time she'd seen him he'd critized someone (admitedly not cruelly as the one he reminded her of had done) and then tried to start running the place (also, admittedly, with good reason) hadn't helped in her mind. She knew deep down it was stupid, but right now old feelings overrunning reason.
She sighed and sat down, waiting for others to arrive.

Remy studied Janice's features and expression. It wasn't hard to look what's beneath her skin and to know what she's thinking about. It was part of his natural abilities to understand people quickly. Although he have odd eyes but his eyes were the most important part of him to become once a famous theif.
Without a word, the Cajun watched her sit down before his gaze switched towards the door then out the window. He was sure that the mansion will have a bit of a conflict but on the other hand, Ryan might have the exact potential to become a leader. Seeing that Scott took Ryan under his wing, Scott must have taught him well.
Remy had known Scott for years and Scott was always doing his best. never failing to train his student to become the very best.

Seeing Janice neter the room, he hadn't bothered with a mere greeting. He did not know the student well and he could intepret by her manner that she did not like him. Nor did he care whether he wanted to be liked or not. He would run things as he saw fit and in doing so, it meant having a few dislikes here and there. He meant well and he would like to accomplish something in his life. As the old saying goes, you never live twice.
He looked down on his palms and looked at the glass of water on the table. Deciding to poke fun at the Cajun, he manipulated it and sent spurts of water towards the Cajun, as he smirked waiting for his expression.

Janice mentally rolled her eyes. Ryan had called an important meeting, wanting to take control and help get things back together at the mansion, yet here he was acting like an immature child. She turned to look out the window, letting her thoughts wander.

Kitty's pace quickens as she walked down the hallway. The call for the important meetin was unexpected as she was halfway taking a shower. Kitty had her wet hair draped around her shoulders, wetting ther sides of her blue tank top. She arrived the late professor's office, and saw Ryan, Remy and Janice.
"Sorry about the wet hair," Kitty spoke as she felt heat rising up her cheek before taking a seat next to Remy. "I thought this meeting was important to I hurried out of the showers," she grinned.

Remy's eyebrows furrowed when he felt water splashed onto his face. He was about to turn and "attacked" back Ryan but heard Kitty walking into the room. Her hair was obviously wet which Remy couldn't help stop grinning at her. She looked attractive in a sense of way that her wet hair draping around her shoulders.
"I thought this meeting was important to I hurried out of the showers."
Remy kept grinning at her. As always, he was the mischevious one and loves teasing people; striking up their nerve for fun. Remy leaned closer over to Kitty before opening his mouth to speak. "Ah' chere', next tim' if ya' want tah' tak' a quik' shower, call Remy. Da' Cajun wil' elp' ya' tah' wash so tat' petit' can be fast'r," he smirked, knowing that she'll hit him anytime soon.

Kitty's head spun around and met with Remy's red on black eyes and his grinning face. She shook her head lightly before pushing him away slightly."I think I can manage it myself thanks, Remy," she spoke before whacking him playfully in the arm.
"Like you would ever have the chance to be in the same bathroom with me," she added before turning back to Ryan.

Ryan nodded as he looked at either of them act playfully. Every now and then, it is logical to let loose and give the inner child take over the body. He had known that was Scott's absolute flaw, even if he was an excellent leader. He knew that everyone was just human and needed some sense of humour in life. "Well then, I'm still waiting for more to come,"he said as he looked at Kitty.

Riley was wondering around the mansion, when she heard that there was an important meeting. She knew that she wasn't an X-men, but she had lived here for a long time and she was pretty much apart of it, plus they always seemed to need her help sometimes, so she always joined in. So she headed towards the old office of the Professor, with tons of old memories streaming through her mind. Riley knew that she was late, but hoped that she didn't miss much.
Soon she arrived at the door and noticed Remy and Kitty being playful with each other and smiled at them, even though they hadn't seen her yet. Riley leaned against the door way, with her arms crossed and watched them. I guess I'm not that late after all. She soon noticed Janice looking out of the window and the new guy, whom seemed to like to take charge of everything. Riley had seen him around before, but never really spoken to him yet.
"Did I miss anything, besides Remy putting on a little show with charming the ladies?" she asked them with a smile. she wondered what Remy's reaction would be to that, since they had only met once.
